DESCRIPTION:
The PLX HDD-100 is the worlds first standard size 2 1/16" (52mm) OLED automotive display. Measuring only 0.7" (18mm) thick, it can virtually be mounted anywhere. The HDD-100 is designed to fit into most aftermarket 2 1/16" (52mm) cups, and mounts for seamless integration into your vehicle. Colors can be fully customized on the fly to match your existing dash and instrument cluster.
TECHNOLOGY:
Organic Light Emitting Diode (OLED) is emerging as a leading next generation display technology. OLED technology offers several distinct advantages over the traditional liquid crystal displays (LCDs). OLEDs can be made thinner, offer more vibrant colors, and has better contrast. Its viewing angle is wider, and produces almost no polarization. Polarized sunglasses have almost no effect in viewing the projected image. This makes it an ideal display for automotive applications.
