Digital 3 Bar Vacuum Boost Sensor (30PSI)
DESCRIPTION:
SM-Vac/Boost accurately measures the vacuum pressure and boost pressure of any intake manifold. This is ideal for turbo and supercharged applications with monitoring the intake pressure is vital. Up to 32 SM-Vac/Boost modules can be daisy chained together in the iMFD system. SM-Vac/Boost can also be used as a stand alone unit capable of interfacing with 3rd party hardware. All Sensor Modules are housed in high quality extruded aluminum designed to operate even in the most extreme conditions. In addition, all SM modules offer outstanding digital accuracy, response and resolution which far exceeds that of a standard gauge.

CONNECTION DIAGRAM:

Connects to 12V-18V power source.

Analog outputs (0-5V analog output, ground)

Termination jumper. Closed for first SM in daisy chain.

Connects to next SM in daisy chain or to first DM

Connects to previous SM or unconnected if first SM in daisy chain
-
Connects to vacuum hose from intake manifold
TECHNOLOGY:
SM-Vac/Boost utilizes the latest digital PID and DSP technologies to maximize sensor reaction time and accuracy without compromising overshoot, and slow settling response time. PLX sensors may be used and installed in your vehicle permanently.

There are two recommended uses for the DM-5. The simple setup connects to just one SM module. This is great for stand alone gauges.
The full setup is great for monitoring several SM modules simultaneously. Looking at the above diagram.
ANALOG OUTPUTS:
0-5V analog linear output
Vacuum Range (0V = 30.5inHg = -15PSI, 1.66V = 0PSI)
Boost Range (1.66V = 0PSI, 5.0V = 30PSI)
